Supporting Youth In Our Community

Our Go for the Gold (GFTG) program provides healthy relationship and sexual risk-avoidance education to high school students in both public and private schools as well as juvenile detention centers. The program provides nine sessions of instruction on everything from Friendship to Marriage. The goal of the GFTG program is to provide accurate information that can empower youth to make healthy decisions that lead to successful marriages and parenting in the future.

In our Go for the Gold Program, our in-school educators walk students through seven dating steps and assist them in learning skills that will help them make good choices within each step of a relationship. In our middle school programs, our educators help students learn the importance of setting goals, the red flags associated with unhealthy relationships, and the benefits of abstinence.

ENLC also provides programs for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. These programs are age-appropriate and lay a foundation for students to build healthy relationships and avoid negative consequences. All of our programs promote abstaining from risky behaviors such as teen sexual activity and drug and alcohol use.
