Are you passionate about standing up for the unborn? Do you ever feel alone in the pro-life movement? Our current culture certainly makes it difficult to advocate for the unborn. It is easy to find feelings of isolation and hopelessness within an oftentimes bleak cause.
If you’ve experienced these feelings, you are not alone, and we can prove it to you. There are some key elements of stamina and hope that you can expect to experience when attending a Partnership banquet with Elizabeth’s New Life Center. Continue reading to learn about four of the main reasons you should attend.
- To recognize that we are all ‘Chosen’
Our 2021 banquet theme comes from the scripture verse 1 Peter 2:9 and has deep meaning. But in very simple terms we have all been chosen to serve Him and one another. Perhaps this will be the first time you have attended one of our banquets and you have been chosen to hear the banquet message at THIS TIME in your life. If you have attended past banquets, maybe this is an opportunity to invite someone who has never attended, or is not familiar with our ministry, to attend and be moved by what they hear.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation , a people for God’s own possession , so that you may proclaim the excellences of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.
Each one of us has been chosen to be the light to the world. We are confident that attending the banquet will motivate you to continue to share His light with others. If enough people share the light, there is no room for darkness.
- To realize the true impact of the ENLC ministry upon the local community
Whether this is your first banquet, or your tenth, most attendees are incredibly touched by the guest speaker, client testimonies, and the results achieved by the organization.
Many people who attend our banquet for the first time say, “I had no idea that this work was happening in my community”. Our work is not meant to be hidden, but it is meant to be known, shared, and embraced so that we can serve as many people as possible. If you are well aware of our ministry, you will still be in awe as you learn of what we have achieved this past year with your partnership. You will leave the banquet with confidence that your prayers and support for our life-saving work are truly making a difference.
- Fellowship and encouragement that you do not stand alone
In today’s culture, it is possible to feel that you stand alone in support of beliefs that focus on the dignity of the human person and conservative family values. Often the news and social media platforms paint a pretty bleak picture of what is happening in society. It is often discouraging to see our culture continue to eliminate the need God in our lives and fail to protect the most vulnerable or provide support to those who are faced with very difficult decisions. To be in a room filled others who embrace our mission “To empower individuals and families to make Godly life choices” is simply refreshing. It’s a reminder that we do NOT stand alone but we stand together. This encouragement fuels our ability to continue standing despite any obstacles we face.
- Embrace the opportunity to partner with us and share the mission with others
Most people who attend our annual Partnership banquet are moved by the program, fellowship, and messages shared by all speakers. Each attendee has an opportunity to offer prayer, volunteer, or financial support to further our mission. When you consider your blessings in life, you may find that your experience at the banquet motivates you to accept your ‘chosen’ status and bless others in a special way. You are an important and integral part of our ministry. Your partnership allows us to continue to serve and give all of the Glory to God.
